Step 2: In the password windows, you will two different options “Change Password” and “Reset password”. To change the password as discussed before can only be changes If you know the original password. If you don’t know the original password, unfortunately you will have to catch-up with the ‘Reset Password” option.

Step 3: Tap on the “Reset password” option to reset the password on all notes.

Step 4: After that, It will ask you for your Apple ID and password. Type in your ID and password to confirm. Once it is confirmed successfully. Now from onward, every note you lock will be secured under new password.

Recovering Notes Using iTune Software

You can also try this methods to recover/unlock the locked notes on an iPhone. But for that, your iPhone should have been synced with iTunes software at the time of being losing your notes. Follow the steps below, if you have synced your iPhone with iTunes before.

Step 1: First of all, download and install the latest version iTunes software on your Mac. Now, launch the iTunes and connect your iPhone. Once, you see your phone appears on the iTunes software, then simply click on the phone icon.

Step 2: After that, click on the “Summary” and then you might see the restore back-up option. Click on the restore option and follow the on-screen and you are good to go.

Step 3: Now, wait for the restore operation to complete, once it get completes successfully. All the lost notes will be recovered from iTunes that somehow were erased during the phone reset operation.
